The Sugar Cube... a cute name I know. Those of you who know me know how fitting the name really is and those who really really know me know that I've thought of actually starting a cute little bake shoppe called the Sugar Cube. I don't know that my recipes are that good, or that I actually have any talent at all, plus at this point in my life I would not be able to squeeze it in. So until my next life (which I don't actually believe in so maybe I'll just be baking in heaven) I thought a blog is the perfect place to share the goodies that I bake up!
Ok So I have a slight obsession with the Cake Boss, Cupcake Wars, Ace Of Cakes and everything in between. Not to mention all the blogs on baking! Geeezzz! My very first "creation" was for my first child's very first birthday. We had a huge bash and I wanted something special but we determined not to pay someone for something as simple as a cake. So hours later with bloodshot eyes I presented the cutest giraffe cake with monkey cupcakes. Adorable! If I can dig up some pictures from way back then they just may show up here sometime. And from there my passion grew!
